January 11, 2021 Our journey with Trent began almost four years ago. John and I got married and decided to purchase our first home together. We wanted to buy a property where we could semi-retire. My business required some rural land. Initially, we wanted to buy our dream property in my birthplace of Puerto Rico. “No problem”. Trent assured us that he had contacts in Puerto Rico that could help us purchase while still living and working here in the United States. Trent had us meet with Andrew Leavitt to assess where we were financially. With their advice, we realized we were not ready to buy yet. We didn’t have everything situated to be able to qualify for the home that we wanted. So we set out to carry out their brilliant advice over the next three years. We checked in with Trent periodically to ask him questions as they arose. He always gave us full attention on the phone, never rushed us. With his and Andrew’s advice, we were able to significantly reduce our debt, and save the thousands of dollars we needed for a down payment for the type of loan we wanted to suit our lifestyle. For the following three years, hurricanes and earthquakes battered the island of Puerto Rico. We had to change our plans for the relocation. South Texas or the outskirts of Austin, Texas appealed to us .”No problem”. In May 2020, Trent took the time to find the best agent in Austin at a time when their market was booming and all agents super busy. Apparently the COVID19 pandemic had people relocating to rural areas, too! After a trip to Texas and not being able to find dependable “essential” jobs there, we realized we had to buy our house in Las Vegas. “No problem”. Once we both returned to work, we resumed the house hunt in November 2020. Trent quickly and easily set us up with the realtor app. We did our searches and drive-bys. After Trent walked us through 8 houses and two offers, we were able to move into our new home on December 31st 2020. So, through hurricanes, earthquakes and pandemics and three years of pivoting plans, Trent’s awesome “team” and thorough knowledge of real estate markets and networks, got us into the best deal on a house we love and can easily afford to buy.
